Utah has 3.101 million residents (extrapolation of the US Census Bureau 2017), of which 89.1% are white, 0.9% black and African-American, 1.9% Asian, 1.1% Indian, 0.7% Hawaiian and 4, 5% of other parentage. 1.8% said they belonged to two or more races. Of the total population, 11.2% are Hispanic community.
Utah has the highest fertility rate of any state in the United States (2.29 children per woman in 2015). Utah’s population is living longer than the American average and has a lower percentage of overweight people.
